Our mission and vision are simple. We want to make a real difference for good in the lives of youth in the Frankford area! We want our goal to be clear, so our mission and vision statements are short and to the point.
Our Mission is to love and serve the youth of Frankford in positive, practical ways.
Our Vision is to love and serve the youth of Frankford by offering:
- life skill coaching
- recreational opportunities
- counsel and support
- a safe place to belong
- spiritual guidance
When we envision life skill coaching we imagine everything from cooking classes to help creating resumes and finding jobs.
When we envision recreational opportunities we imagine everything from open drop-in style hang out times to organized sports, dances or movies.
When we envision counsel and support we imagine caring adults listening carefully to the struggles youth are facing and helping them find the resources they need.
When we envision a safe place to belong we imagine a youth centre that belongs to the youth, a place they can call their own and a place that has clear boundaries to ensure the safety of all who come to belong.
When we envision spiritual guidance we imagine an environment in which spiritual questions are welcomed rather than discouraged, and in which caring adults can walk alongside youth on a journey of spiritual discovery.
